Scottish dogs are beautiful, majestic, gentle, moderately active, friendly and unconditionally devoted to their owners. This breed is widely recognized thanks to the movie "LASSIE, come back!" and every Scottish owner will admit that their loyalty is a true feature of this breed and it is not without reason that a dog of this breed was perfect for the film script. The movement of the Scottish Shepherd should be light and harmonious, its temperament should be gentle, but they are also very intelligent dogs that love learning new commands, long walks and can practice dog sports such as frisbee, agility and dog dance.

The priority in good breeding is to mate only healthy and tested dogs. Our Collies have mandatory joint tests, an X-ray with an entry in the pedigree performed by an orthopedist, additionally, we perform optional genetic tests for diseases occurring in this breed, we test dogs for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), drug hypersensitivity (MD1), tests are performed in the Laboclin laboratory . We also perform optional ophthalmological examinations and check: PRA, KAT, CEA, hypoplasia. We perform regular blood and urine tests, and before a planned pregnancy, the dog always has a follow-up ultrasound.

Our Scots live with us and our children, they love to play with them, it is a great breed for a family, relatively easy to manage, but it is worth remembering that every dog ​​must be raised and respected. Collies are able to adapt to their owner, when it rains they can rest with us at home, and when we want to go for a long walk or go on a trip, they are happy to accompany us, but we must remember that these days should be dominated by walking days.

The fur of the Scottish Shepherd is impressive and may seem difficult to care for, but appearances are deceiving and we only comb a lot during the molt, and on a daily basis we regularly take care of the fur behind the ears and comb the dog once a month.

Scots can be cautious and delicate, so we pay great attention to socialization and early neurological stimulation, puppies who do not experience this have a harder time adapting to new situations, we really want our little Collies to learn different sounds, walk on different surfaces, have contact with cats and were open to the world, before leaving, each child is familiarized with driving a car, we assess their reactions to new stimuli and show them new things gradually, we also get used to caring for them from the 4th week of life all this so that in the future they will grow into self-confident dogs, willing to meet new people. Selecting parents with the right mentality and temperament as well as regular socialization work is a great start for puppies.
